Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (MWSC) inform its valued customers and stakeholders that, effective 30th June 2026, all payments for services will transition exclusively to the Company’s mobile payment platform accessible via USSD code: *2012#.

Since October 2025, MWSC has been piloting the mobile payment platform alongside traditional cash payment options. Following a successful testing and validation phase, the Company will complete the full migration to the digital platform at the end of June 2026.

Accordingly, from 1st July 2026, cash payments will no longer be accepted, and all physical pay points will be closed.

This transition is intended to:

• Enhance payment accessibility for all customers
• Strengthen transaction security and accountability
• Improve convenience and operational efficiency in service delivery

The migration forms part of MWSC’s broader strategic direction toward digital transformation and improved customer experience.

Customers are encouraged to begin using the mobile payment platform promptly to ensure seamless transactions and uninterrupted service.
