The Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company (MWSC) Integrity Committee recently undertook a benchmarking visit to Solwezi Municipal Council as part of the Company’s continued commitment to promoting ethics, integrity, accountability, and professionalism in the workplace.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Committee to learn and share best practices on ethics promotion, corruption prevention, policy compliance, and strengthening institutional governance systems.
As part of its mandate, the MWSC Integrity Committee conducts staff sensitization programmes on ethics and anti-corruption, while also collaborating with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on education, prevention, and enforcement initiatives aimed at strengthening ethical conduct within the institution.
The Committee also supports the implementation and adherence to key policies and procedures, including the Whistleblower Policy, Procurement Guidelines, Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures, and the Customer Charter.
MWSC recognizes that high performance, customer satisfaction, and sustainable service improvement can only thrive in an ethical work environment that prioritizes transparency, fairness, accountability, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
The Company remains committed to continuous learning and the promotion of a culture of integrity that supports transparent and accountable service delivery to the communities we serve.
